What do you do if you cannot sleep?

There are people in this world who cannot sleep at all. I mean they really cannot sleep, and yet on the surface they seem healthy enough. I wonder what would you do, if you really can’t sleep at all, for days on end? I just did a bit of research, and it seems there is a disorder called chiari malformation, it’s more common than you think, and the sufferers can’t sleep for days, yet superficially appear healthy.

There was this news story on Yahoo about a kid who can’t sleep. I got thinking, would I be more productive this way? I don’t want to a workaholic. There are people who don’t want to sleep, people who always feel 24 hours a day is not enough. Are you one of them?

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think all those modafinil popping dudes are taking care of their health. Modafinil culture is still a novelty, but who knows about the long term side effects for all these people 10 years from now? I think messing with nature or the laws that govern nature is simply not right…
