Moves to make organic farming illegal in the US?

WTH, is there a move to make organic farming illegal? A US Congresswoman from Connecticut actually proposed a bill to make organic farming illegal.  HR 875 or Food Safety Modernization Act 2009 is a bill to outlaw organic farming. Organic farming is basically growing plants and vegetables using as natural methods as possible.

What can happen if you abuse your health

There are so many things that can happen if you abuse your health. And yet, many people do so unknowingly or knowingly.

Like yours truly.

I abused my health for several years, not eating right, not having breakfast, sleeping late, and not getting any exercise at all. Put that down to having a job that necessitates working for 12 hours. Luckily I didn’t smoke or drink, but that alone is enough to almost bring the fittest person down. (more…)

What are your health resolutions?

A new year has come, and therefore a time to look at new beginnings. As usual, better health is one of my main aims. So what did I do lately? Well, the past few months have been nothing but hectic. I’ve been upping my exercise regimen to several times a week, and I’ve been trying to sleep earlier. As for eating, I am trying to get more fruits and green vegetables in my system.

All these is starting to show an effect, but wow, it’s a long haul. I believe anyone who has good health should not take it for granted. Losing it can be very, very costly. (more…)
